Space Foundation Headquarters and Discovery Center

The Space Foundation Headquarters and Discovery Center is a community space and science education resource. It is located at 4425 Arrowswest Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. It is the first space center of its kind in the area, and the only science center dedicated to space exploration. The center is open year-round. The museum showcases captivating space artifacts. The exhibits focus on STEM education and technology. Interactive exhibits include the Spacelab and the 3D Science on a Sphere(r) globe. The center also has a gift shop filled with space-themed souvenirs. Visitors can also enjoy an astronaut-inspired ice cream.

Founded in 1983, the Space Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses on space awareness activities. The headquarters and Discovery Center are in Colorado Springs. The museum features interactive exhibits and interesting artifacts. The museum is suitable for families with children. However, groups of kids must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 should not run or engage in conduct that could endanger themselves.
